Ben Holub
Holub Insurance Agency was started in 1946 by my Father Stanley Holub, near Central City, Iowa. In 1995, I obtained my personal lines license and purchased the agency. We then started to write Auto insurance as well as provide Home and Farm Insurance. In 1998 I purchase another agency near Center Point, Iowa. We started to write Federal Crop and Crop Hail Insurance. I also went back to school to get my commercial lines license that year. Today I live with my wife, Jean, near the Home Farm where I was born and raised near Prairieburg, Iowa.

Nate Holub
I graduated from North-Linn Highschool in 2014 and went to Kirkwood Community College for two years to study Ag Business. I started working with Holub Insurance Agency, LLC. in December of 2015 after obtaining my Federal Crop Insurance License in November. Subsequently, I was also able to obtain my Personal lines and Commercial Lines Licensures. My wife Lizzy and I have 3 children that keep us busy and humble as we raise them at our farmstead. I’d be happy to help you with your insurance needs.

Kevin Johnson
I graduated from the University of Dubuque in 1975 with a teaching and coaching degree. I taught school at Maple Valley Schools in Mapleton, IA for 8 years then worked in Insurance for 8 years (and coached sports at Maple Valley for 17 years). I moved to Alburnett, IA in 1992 and worked out of the NXT Bank of Central City, IA for last 26 years. I've continued to follow my passion for coaching youth being the varsity softball coach at Alburnett. My wife Teri and I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren all living close to Alburnett. My insurance career has been very rewarding building close relationships helping farmers find solutions to protecting their assets so they are in a better position to be profitable.

Emily Holub
I graduated in 2022 from the University of Iowa College of Tippie with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management and a certificate in Risk Management Insurance from the Vaughan Institute. I started working for Holub Insurance Agency while in college but transitioned to a full-time position upon graduation. I have my Personal, Commercial, and Crop Insurance Licenses. In my time here, I have developed a deeper understanding and knowledge of insurance and everyone’s individual needs for different risks. I look forward to servicing the Eastern Iowa region for many years to come. I would be happy to discuss your insurance needs with you!

Ron Huckins
I have been in the insurance industry for the last 20 years, in several different capacities. In September of 2025, I took the step of becoming a licensed personal lines agent and joined the team here at Holub Insurance Agency. Since working here, I have also obtained my commercial lines license. My wife, Abby, and I live in Coggon with our daughter, Ashlynn, and our 2 Basset Hounds.
